Overview

Located close to the foot of the massive and iconic Amphitheatre flanked by the Sentinel and the Eastern Buttress in the Drakensberg. The resort nestles below colourful sandstone cliffs close to forests of rare yellowwood trees and stretches of Protea savannah. It provides easy and quick access to some of the most splendid mountain hikes, trails and scenic settings in Africa.

Sites

88 Demarcated grassy sites - few under trees and most very exposed. Some sites are very close together offering less privacy during very busy periods. Use a net ground sheet to protect the grass. Campsite Telephone: 036 438 6310.

  • • Braai facilities at sites. Visitors have reported that they are not in a good condition and suggest you bring your own.
