  • 2022 Camping Price Guide*:

    Jan – Nov 2022 (excluding Easter weekend) R180 per person per night

    15 – 18 April 2022 (Easter weekend) R200 per person per night

    15 Dec 2022 -15 Jan 2023 R200 per person per night (Cabin R300 pp per night)

    Children 6 and under stay for free

  • • No onsite bar or restaurant - many places to eat out in this tourist oriented area from 8kms away.

  • • No onsite shop, although ice and wood is available - stock up on groceries in Bonnievale 8kms.

Access

  • • Suitable for all types of vehicles and types of camping.

  • • Tar to the entrance - internal roads are hard-packed gravel and suitable for road cars and caravans.

  • • Pets not allowed.

  • • Malaria-free area

    Mostly thorn-free grass to camp on and a fair bit of shade on most sites. Like the video says on the profile page, there is a want for more toilets and showers….at least some urinals for the guys.

    Fishing: Good 2km stretch of river with large- and smallmouth bass although the latter is more scarce. For the bank anglers there are some decent carp and barbel around.

    I’ll definitely be back.
