August 29, 2022 at 11:26 amSpent a four night, week camping trip, first week of August 2022 (Winter rate). I was the only person there (which suited me fine), therefore very quiet. Ablutions are good, clean and lockable, with shower and wash basin. No WiFi, and cell reception is low. Wood and Ice are available at a cost, braai facility was cleaned every day. Normal 3 pin electrical socket, and single water tap close to the site. Overall a pleasant stay
DG-OVERLANDING
February 21, 2023 at 9:38 amDG Overlanding camped at Erasmus Bush Camp in the Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve. See our review here https://youtu.be/MnW8zuCfU94
Erasmus bush camp is a fenced campsite. Each campsite has electric power (normal 3 pin plug) as well as a portable braai.
The campsites have their own private ablutions, but the ablutions are not on the site. They are located in a central “block” which is, however, not far from the sites. The ablutions were fantastic and lovely hot water. Wash up facilities are available (shared) around the back of the ablution building.
Stands are nice and level and some have shade.
A nice campsite with friendly owners.

April 25, 2023 at 9:36 amWe had the honor of spending a 4 night week at Erasmus.
There are only 7 campsites each with their own ablution facilities. This makes for a peaceful quiet campsite. There is a heated swimming pool and a kiddies play area. Kids can safely ride their bikes as this campsite is properly fenced in from Dinokeng Game Reserve. We had Jackal on the other side of the fence most nights and also saw some Giraffe and Zebra.
The owners are super friendly and accommodating and saw to our wellbeing every day.
You can buy wood at a reasonable price.
Thank you Erasmus Bush Camp.
See you soon!
