Overview

Swadini lies in the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve and is nestled amongst the Drakensberg peaks, on the banks of the Blyde River. An ideal campsite from which to explore Bourke's Luck Potholes, The Pinnacle, Mac-Mac Falls and God's Window,  Moholoholo Rehab centre, Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre and Kruger National Park through the Orpen Gate.

Sites

224 Sites include 4 sites designed for Paraplegic/Disabled persons. Sites are well-laid out, level and demarcated. Many sites have large shady trees which may inhibit grass growth - bring a net ground sheet to protect any grass • A number of paved sites also available • Site numbers cannot be booked - these are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Site Essentials

  • • Power points available. Bring a 20+m extension cord.

  • • Water points on or near sites.

  • • Braai facilities available at each site.
Amenities

  • • Large clean ablution blocks - showers & baths, hot water, flushing toilets. Paraplegic Male and Paraplegic Female bathrooms situated next to ablution 2 - keys available at Front Office (for the physical paraplegic guests only).

  • • Scullery for washing dishes.

  • • Laundry facilities available.
Food, Drinks, Supplies

  • • Restaurant, pub & grill onsite. Restaurants and takeaways in Hoedspruit 35kms.

  • • Shop with fresh food, general groceries etc. For something more, stock up in Hoedspruit 35kms.
