Overview
Nestled in the rolling foothills of the Maluti Mountains of the north eastern Free State lies the Golden Gate Highlands National Park. Deeply eroded sandstone cliffs and outcrops dominate the landscape.

45 Level sites with a mix of grass and hard ground, most with some shade. Net ground sheets only. Little general lighting at night, so a torch is essential. Park Tel: 058 255 1000.

Camp Site with power - R349 per nightDaily Conservation fees for 1 Nov 2023 to 31 Oct 2024 for South African Citizens and Residents (with ID) - R67 per adult per day, R33 per child per day.
Members of SANParks’ loyalty programme WILD do not pay conservation fees provided that proof of Identity and their WILD card are shown on arrival. A community fund of 1% will be added to the cost of all accommodation.Long stay rates on selected dates.
