Found the campsite when searching on the web for a suitable place to campo somewhere near Laingsburg in the Karoo. So please we chose Porcupine !
What a lovely place. Very friendly people
Each campsite has its own private ablution. Our campsite was located near a stream and was really lovely.
The ablution has hot water from a donkey boiler.
A flush toilet, large shower and wash hand bason are all there !
The wash up area is located just outside the ablution area. Also with hot water from the donkey boiler.
The campsite has a nice fire pit and braai area. Wood is available to purchase.
Also at the campsite is a lovely bar/restaurant and a very clean pool. There is seating outside the restaurant/bar under some lovely trees.
No electricity is available, so you need to have solar.
Our site had loads of shade as well as a short path down to the stream.
Lovely place to camp !
