• Swimming in the river - canoes and tubes available for hire or bring your own

• Suitable for robust high clearance vehicles and 4 x 4 vehicles and off-road trailers/caravans and tent camping. Not suited to road caravans due to the gravel road.

• R303 via Ceres to Citrusdal - This route is mostly tarred and travels through valleys of deciduous fruit farms. 5kms of gravel road from the R303 to the farm entrance and further to the campsites - all internal roads are gravel.

• Pets not allowed

• Malaria-free area

• Limited cell signal on the MTN network on some sites, but the majority have no signal

• No WiFi hotspot

• As a general precaution wherever you travel, keep valuables secured away.
