Eastern Cape, Off the N2, Gamtoos River Mouth - Situated right on the Gamtoos River, and is truly a family friendly destination for those who enjoy a touch of farm life. Pet friendly, close to nature and the outdoors.

Sites

40 Prime coastal river camping sites. Not all sites have shade and depending on the rainfall, sites can be lush grass or hard gravel. Net ground sheet • Two exclusive sites with private bathroom (within 20m). These sites are semi-paved (30sqm section of paving), a 6-seater picnic bench, power, water and braai.

Site Essentials

  • • Power points available. Bring a 20+m extension cord. Most sites use the blue caravan plugs. Domestic 3-pin plugs for tenters.

  • • Water points on or near sites.

  • • Brick Braai on each site. Bring a grid.

  • 2026 Camping Price Guide*:

    February to November
    Excluding Easter & Public Holidays (Long Weekends)
    R600 per site per night based on 2 people
    Additional adults R100 per night to a max of 6 in total
    Children under 7 stay free
    Limited to 4 children per adult couple, or two children per single parent

    1 December to 31 January
    R650 per site per night based on 2 people
    Additional adults R100 per night to a max of 6 in total
    Children aged 8 - 16 years R50 per child per night
    Children under 7 stay free
    Minimum Rate R650 per night

  • • Communal Ladies & Gents ablutions. Family Bathroom. Large clean ablution blocks with hot water, showers, bath and flushing toilets.

Food, Drinks, Supplies

  • • No onsite restaurant. Jeffrey's Bay, 24kms away, is your best option restaurants and pubs.

  • • No onsite shop. Ice, wood, charcoal and water available from reception. A convenience store is located within 5kms.

Access

  • • Suitable for all types of typically accepted camping vehicles and ways of camping.

  • • Tar and some gravel. Internal roads are gravel.
