Spectacular scenery with extensive cliff faces, deep valleys, waterfalls and well wooded gorges provide an unrivaled landscape and haven for birdlife.

Sites

3 campsites - all exclusive to one group at a time - all are without power. Rietspruit Campsite has luch lawn, while Uzavolo and Saligna Wild camp are on seasonal grass and bare ground. All sites have large shade trees on or near the site • Other accommodation: Rooms, Hut, Cottage

  • 2023 Camping Price Guide*:

    Pre-booking essential - No drop-ins or day visitors.
    All stays are subject to a once-off conservation levy of R60 per person

    RIETSPRUIT - Max 15 people
    Monday - Thursday nights (low season only): R150 per person per night
    Friday - Sunday nights, Public Holidays, High season: R190 per person per night

    UZAVOLO - Max 8 people

  • • Saligna Campsite: screened outdoor bucket shower, a pit loo • Rietspruit Campsite: Indoor ablutions with gas geyser hot water and solar lights, flushable toilets • Uzavolo Campsite: One outdoor shower, a flushable loo, hot water through a wood-burner geyser.

Access

  • • Uzavolo and Rietspruit Campsites are accessible by most vehicles and typically accepted camping vehicles and ways of camping. Saligna Campsite is for high clearnace 4 x 4 vehicles and off-road trailers.

  • • 8kms of gravel - can be muddy in the rainy season.
