Overview
Spread over more than 8 800 hectares of malaria-free unspoiled bushveld, Mabalingwe Game Reserve is situated in the majestic Waterberg Mountains 28km west of Bela Bela, Limpopo, 2-hour drive from Johannesburg, Gauteng. Rich in biodiversity and abundance of wildlife.
Sites
70 Spacious and level caravan and campsites, most of which are shaded with surrounding trees. Some sites are in full sun and on grass - a net ground sheet is needed on these sites to protect the grass. Assistance with set-up and breakdown is available at a fee.

• Cell signal - Visitors report that cellphone signal fluctuates between mediocre to good. Signal may be lost entirely during times of load shedding.

• Fenced campsite within a fenced nature reserve. Access controlled entrance with patrolling security in the greater reserve and in the campsite. As a general precaution wherever you travel, keep valuables secured away.

February 22, 2023 at 8:01 pmWe had a great few days at Mabalingwe – sites mostly level with paving and under huge trees which helped with this summers heatwave. Pizza at the bar was fantastic! The kids had an absolute blast. Facilities were cleaned often.
