August 27, 2023 at 11:09 amThis resort is situated within a nature conservation area and located just south of Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) on the van Stadens river mouth. The CP has 24/7 gate control with day visitor control to a restricted area. Ablutions dotted throughout the CP are clean with plenty of hot water. Basins are provided for dishes or laundry, but no wash machines or tumble driers are provided. The caravan sites are dotted throughout the reserve amongst the cottages and rondavels offering plenty of beautiful sea, lagoon and beach views. As the CP is within a nature reserve fishing in the lagoon is limited to a small area and only paddle boats provided by the resort are allowed to launch.
Sites are sparsely lawned so a net ground sheet will be useful. There are plenty of shade tree sites to choose from if needed. Your nearest shopping centre for providing grocery and other essential items is Blue Horizon Bay shopping centre about 5 km away.
