Access

  • • Suitable for robust high clearance vehicles and 4x4's and off-road trailers. In the wet season, only 4x4's should attempt the river road from Ruacana and check conditions before setting off.

  • • 179kms of gravel from Opuwo to the campsite.

Other

  • • Pets not allowed

  • • Low-risk malaria area - take the necessary precautions during the rainy season.

  • • Cell signal - get a Namibian simcard or activate roaming (this can be hugely expensive - a local simcard is always preferable)

  • • WiFi hotspot at the Lodge reception

  • • As a general precaution wherever you travel, keep valuables secured away.
